# Make a Course Private

In this article we will cover how to make an invite-only course. This is a useful functionality for SPOC (small private online courses).

1. Login to Studio and select your desired course
2. From the header menu select ***Settings > Advanced Settings*** 
3. Find the property ***Invitation Only*** and type `true`
4. Save changes

The course is now private and only accessible to users who receive an invitation. :innocent:
