How to create a new course in MOOCit Studio

In order to create courses in MOOCit Studio, you must be on a Business or Pro plan and have Course Creator status.

To help keep your courses organized, we recommend having a maximum of 1-2 users with Course Creator Status. Once a new course is created, the creator can invite users to develop course as course team members. To better understand the roles of team members in the course development, refer to the Course Team Members document.

Become a Course Creator

From MOOCit Studio Home select '+ New Course'

If it's your first time to create a new course using MOOCit Studio, you can easily make your demand to 'Become a Course Creator'.

Select the 'Becoming a Course Creator in MOOCit Studio' tab

Then select 'Request the Ability to Create Courses'.

The request will be reviewed by the MOOCit team, and if necessary, the MOOCit team may contact the owner of the account to confirm course creation rights.

Create a New Course

Once your course creation request has been approved, you will have to ability to create new courses.

Fill in the information for your new course and select 'Create'.
