# Modify the Name of a Course (legacy)

1. Login to Studio and select the desired course
2. In the header menu select ***Settings > Advanced Settings*** and find the property ***Course Display Name***
3. Modify ***Course Display Name***  `"My Course Name"` . Retaining the quotation marks around the new display name of your course.&#x20;
4. Save changes&#x20;
